2015’s Top 10 Biggest Vendors in Big Data



Big data is a big deal. In 2014 the market was roughly $18.3 billion and it’s expected to hit $92.2 billion by 2026. From Netflix to Uber, more companies want big data to help them optimize their processes and, in turn, their profits. In many ways, big data has become a currency unto itself.
Wikibon, the go-to wiki for info on big data, technology, and business trends, recently published a report on the biggest players (measured by market shares) in Big Data of 2015. The report looks at the top hardware, software, and service vendors, while also looking at the biggest vendors overall. Unsurprisingly, some of the highest earning big data companies have their hands in multiple markets.
